Hi, it´s great to welcome you to my world! Check out my ongoing projects. I love the Nordics, travelling, and people. Naturally, my love for these things plays a major role in my work projects. Working on different topics has alwas been an inspiration to me.
When I was younger I left my home region of Weinviertel in Lower Austria and moved to Lake Tahoe in Nevada. After returning home, I worked at the United Nations travel agency in Vienna. Later I joined Lufthansa Marketing in Vienna and then became District Manager for SAS Scandinavian Airlines in Austria. In 2013, I started my own company, Nordlicht & Südwind.

Inspired by lavender bushes, we have combined the enchanting smell of lavender with its colours in a dirndl. ©
Blueprinting is an old dying technique. In Austria two craft businesses still exist who have kept and refinded the art blueprinting.
In my home region of Weinviertel and in the Wachau area, Kalmuck vests have a long history for winegrowers. Dirndls, the traditional dresses of the Alpine region, consist of a bodice, blouse, full skirt, and apron. The bodice of the Kalmuck dirndl is made of linen. The skirt uses colorful patterns, and the single-color dirndl apron has a traditional silk ribbon. One of the buttons comes in the same color as the apron. After the Kalmuckdirndl 2 other design ideas were realized. These dirndls cannot be bought. However feel free to tailor them.
Vineyard work depicts a bridge to my roots due to my Weinviertel origins. My parents cultivated these vine stocks in 1964 and today, the original grape vines largely still exist. Due to its size of 15 acre, taking care of the vineyard is possible and joyful. The Green Veltliner is a white wine endemic to this geographical region. This tasty wine goes well with food because of its intensive aroma and fresh vintage. © Fotostudio Semrad
